According to TMZ when Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai didn't show up to perform two shows that they had already been paid for ($315,000) American promoter Patrick Allocco was kidnapped at gunpoint by "goons" in the Republic of Angola. Reps for Nas have stated that a miscommunication in travel plans was why he did not make the performance and that he is more than willing to return the money but isn't sure where to send the check to. A solution is being excuted as we speak and I personally hope Mr. Allocco makes it home in one piece.
I only wonder if they held Allocco hostage because of the monies paid or because they wanted Nas to perform. I think it's a little bit of both. While some people claim that Nas is no longer relevant his "staying power" is nothing short of amazing overseas. I don't think it would be hard to believe that the people of Angola would be so upset over the rappers absence that they would resort to drastic measures. No matter the reason what matters most is the safe return of Mr. Allocco to his family.

McFarlane Toys
Having a love for sneakers and sports go hand in hand. I know many fans who can't wait until their favorite team(s) play so that they can wear a piece of team clothing while they watch the game. This type of dedication to a sports organization or brand can range from sneakers to jerseys and even toys
Unlike sneakers and jerseys which age as time goes on toys withstand the test of time. I just recently became aware of McFarlane Toys which covers sports such as the MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL with very life like figurines that are sure to be a nice addition to any collection.
To all my sneakerheads, sports fanatics and toys lovers be sure to stop by McFigures.com, you'll be glad you did. Below are a few example of the dedication I speak of....

Signature Shoe of New York Knick Amar'e Stoudemire.

Hunt for Nike Air Yeezy 2
The Hunt continues.... For all those looking to secure a pair of the highly sought after NAY2 here's an update. While there are a few sites that have taken and sold out of preorders for the shoe you can cross Kixclusive of the list. After a few phone calls and emails I have learned that Kixclusive will carry the shoe ( highly unlikely it will be the retail price) but, they will NOT be taking preorders. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

Visit @ The Sixth Boro
So I took a trip to The Sixth Boro today to check out their inventory. Was pleasantly surprised when I stepped in the store by the decor and overall theme inside. The store has a hiphop/classy vibe to it and employees' are more than willing to offer assistance with current inventory as well as future inventory. Had a great conversation about whether or not they will stock the highly anticipated Nike Air Yeezy 2 and how they operate on a first come first serve policy( no selling entire stock to one person, thank god!)The Sixth Boro stocks plenty of variety in clothing and footwear with brands ranging from the popular Lacoste, Nike and Adidas to new designers like LavieNy( copped a extremely fresh sweater by this brand). They even stocked the recently released Nike Lebron 9 "Freegums" which dropped December 31st(already had my pair). The Sixth Boro definitely has unlimited expansion potential and I eagerly anticipate future transactions, especially if they get those Yeezy's! If you're every in Jersey make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed.
The Sixth Boro....
Bout to stop by the Sixth Boro in Newark nj and see what's good. I definitely gotta step my game up didn't even know this place existed
