This is what happens when you become a legend

According to TMZ when Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai didn't show up to perform two shows that they had already been paid for ($315,000) American promoter Patrick Allocco was kidnapped at gunpoint by "goons" in the Republic of Angola. Reps for Nas have stated that a miscommunication in travel plans was why he did not make the performance and that he is more than willing to return the money but isn't sure where to send the check to. A solution is being excuted as we speak and I personally hope Mr. Allocco makes it home in one piece.
I only wonder if they held Allocco hostage because of the monies paid or because they wanted Nas to perform. I think it's a little bit of both. While some people claim that Nas is no longer relevant his "staying power" is nothing short of amazing overseas. I don't think it would be hard to believe that the people of Angola would be so upset over the rappers absence that they would resort to drastic measures. No matter the reason what matters most is the safe return of Mr. Allocco to his family.
