Here's the first entry of my "What's wrong with the sneaker game" series. So I don't lose anybody the abbreviated form will be WWWTSG. Here we have the Air Jordan 13 "Flint" addition very sexy, very iconic shoe on the outside looking in. Problem is that if you've ever owned this shoe then you know that the toe box on this shoe is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! After one or two good wears the big toe imprint on this shoe will be DISGUSTINGLY visible. With that being said, just saw someone trying to sell this shoe after it has been used numerous for an above retail price! These resellers or whatever they call themselves need to get a grip on reality fast. No matter how you try to dress it up used is used. If you put sugar on shit guess what.......IT'S STILL SHIT! Never really understood buying USED sneakers anyway.
The funniest thing is the terminology such as lightly used, near dead stock etc. Nothing but fancy was to say used. Some used sneakers are in good condition but never would I pay over retail for used sneakers that can easily be worn out. Obviously a lot of people would so I guess my point is moot. Forest Gump said it best....."Stupid is as stupid does." Everybody's a SELF PROCLAIMED sneakerhead but, few have done anything to earn that title. I'm humble enough to know I've come a long way but, have an even longer way to go. YOU GOTTA BE A STUDENT. BEFORE YOU BECOME A TEACHER!
Sincerely,
Student of the Game
