South Beach for the summer

The LeBron 9 Elite "South Beach" will be one of the most anticipated releases of the year but, you already knew that! Didn't you? Besides the Nike Air Yeezy no other shoe carries a higher resale value on eBay to date.    The Nike LeBron 8 "South Beach" is still going for prices as high as $1,800 and keep in mind that the retail price was $170!  As soon as the rumors of an "South Beach" version of the LeBron 9 were confirmed the chaos began.  With the shoe already released overseas some lucky sneaker heads were able to secure a pair while sneaker enthusiasts over in the states were left green with envy.  Within no time of the overseas release pairs of the shoe began to show up on eBay with bids quickly reaching over $1000 with multiple bidders all eager to secure an early pair thus being the envy of their peers.  The one thing that is different this time around is the price tag. This year Nike decided to cash in on the hype surrounding the sneaker culture by raising the retail price to $250. Believe me when I tell you that the "hefty" price tag will not stop the shoe from flying off the shelves. Another new twist for the "South Beach" LeBron series is that this time around they will be accompanied by LeBron 9 "South Beach" slides at the retail price $60 (sold separately& now available). The slides will be perfect for everything from casual use on your day off to wearing this summer while you attend the water parks.  The release date for this shoe will be 6/2/12 but, as I always recommend start building those bridges now! This is a highly sought after shoe and it will NOT be a general release.  Meaning only certain stores like Footlocker House of Hoops, Abakus and Ubiq will stock the shoe and campouts will be at an all time high! It gonna be a hot summer ladies and gentlemen.
