Buyers Remorse
Feeling buyers remorse yet? I think there were at least 8 pair of shoes that released today. What's crazier than that is that every pair ranged from $200-$250. What's even crazier than that is damn near every pair sold out. Even with Nike's new twitter RSVP policy, the termination of midnight releases and pushing store opening hours from 7am to 8am product still sold out. Im definitely afraid for the future of the game. To express my concern me and one of my fellow sneaker enthusiasts are in the process of writing an open letter to any and every "Big Wig" imaginable. Ain't nothing sacred no more! I mean nothing! It's 2012 right now and I can't help but notice that things are very different from 2000. You'd expect some type of change within a 12 year period so that part of the equation is fine. I'm more so focused on how drastic the changes have become to make what we once knew a DISTANT memory. Think about these four areas television, hip hop, sneakers and big booties. Remember The Box? How bout the first time the Air Jordan 11 released? What about real song lyrics or phat asses from 96-06. Mobb Deep Break Up?
So apparently Havoc and Prodigy got beef. Sources say that Havoc verbally bashed Prodigy via Twitter claiming that Prodigy was having sex with other men while in jail among other things. MTV's Sway also reportedly texted Havoc and received a reply stating that Havoc's tweets were real. No response has been made by Prodigy as of yet but, you can be sure a statement will be issued shortly. Keep it locked for details.
